From CLI
to localhost.

Install Node.js 22.12+ and Bun. Choose a new project name and use a directory that does not already exist.

  1. Create.

Use your selected configuration, or run bunx @0x0501/mystack@latest to open the terminal wizard.

    Your create command
bunx @0x0501/mystack@latest create my-app --yes --database pg-hyperdrive --deployment cloudflare --email cloudflare --payments stripe

Run this from the parent directory of your new project.

  2. Configure.

Enter the generated directory and copy its environment example. Set the database and provider credentials described in its README.

    Local environment
    cd my-app
    cp .env.example .env

If dependencies were skipped or installation failed, run bun install before continuing.

  3. Migrate.

PostgreSQL needs Docker. Run bun run db:up before applying migrations.

    Apply the initial migrations
    bun run db:up
    bun run db:migrate

Every configuration includes initial migrations. Local migration commands target your local development database.

  4. Build.

Start the development server and open your application at http://localhost:3000.

    Start development
    bun run dev

Without mail credentials, authentication email is logged in development. PostgreSQL projects can run bun run db:seed for local test users; SQLite projects begin with normal sign-up.

Ready for production?

Production requires real domains, secrets and provisioned resources. Deployment does not apply database migrations automatically.
